Welcome To Samsung
Restore the cooling power and thermal efficiency of your outdoor unit with the Samsung Air Conditioner Compressor Assembly DB95-05762A. As the heart of the refrigeration cycle, the compressor is responsible for pressurizing the refrigerant gas and circulating it through the system to facilitate heat exchange. This specific assembly is typically a high-efficiency rotary or BLDC inverter compressor, designed to vary its speed to match the cooling load of your space. A failing compressor often manifests as a complete loss of cooling, loud metallic banging noises, or locked rotor error codes on the outdoor PCB.
The DB95-05762A is built to rigorous OEM standards, featuring high-tolerance internal valves and a hermetically sealed housing to prevent refrigerant leaks. It is designed to operate under high pressure and temperature conditions, providing the reliable mechanical force necessary for long-term climate control.
Installation / Replacement Instructions
Warning: Compressor replacement is a high-level technical task that involves handling high-pressure refrigerants and specialized brazing. This should only be performed by a certified HVAC professional.
1. Safety and Recovery: Turn off all power to the unit. Use a refrigerant recovery machine to safely remove the existing refrigerant charge from the system according to local environmental regulations.
2. Access the Compressor: Remove the top and side panels of the outdoor condenser unit. Remove the sound-dampening blanket from the old compressor.
3. Disconnect Electrics: Carefully remove the terminal cover and disconnect the power leads from the compressor terminals. Note the wiring positions.
4. Unbraze the Lines: Use an oxy-acetylene torch to unbraze the suction and discharge lines from the compressor. Be careful to protect surrounding components with a heat shield or wet rag.
5. Swap the Unit: Remove the mounting bolts from the base of the compressor. Lift out the old unit and place the new DB95-05762A onto the rubber vibration isolators.
6. Braze and Leak Test: Braze the refrigerant lines to the new compressor while flowing nitrogen through the system to prevent internal oxidation. Once cooled, pressurize the system with nitrogen to check for leaks.
7. Evacuation and Charging: Use a vacuum pump to pull the system down to at least 500 microns to remove moisture and non-condensables. Recharge the system with the exact weight of refrigerant specified on the units nameplate.
8. Verify Operation: Restore power and start the unit. Check the operating pressures, amperage draw, and ensure the compressor starts smoothly without excessive vibration.
Compatible with select Samsung outdoor inverter units, this OEM-quality compressor restores the primary cooling capacity and mechanical integrity of your climate control system.
