Restore the heat dissipation performance and quiet operation of your outdoor unit with the Samsung Air Conditioner Condenser Fan Blade DB67-00014A. This specialized axial fan blade is mounted on the outdoor fan motor and is responsible for pulling air through the condenser coils to reject heat from the refrigerant. A cracked, chipped, or warped fan blade can lead to severe unit vibration, increased mechanical noise, and a significant drop in cooling efficiency as the system struggles to shed heat.
The DB67-00014A is manufactured from high-strength, weather-resistant synthetic resin designed to withstand extreme outdoor temperatures and high rotational speeds without deforming. Its aerodynamic wing-tip design is engineered to move a high volume of air while minimizing turbulence and noise. This genuine OEM part is factory-balanced to prevent the shaft wobble that can lead to premature motor bearing failure.
Installation / Replacement Instructions
1. Safety First: Turn off the air conditioner at the thermostat and completely disconnect the power at the outdoor disconnect box or main circuit breaker.
2. Access the Fan: Remove the protective metal grille or the top panel of the outdoor condenser unit to expose the fan assembly.
3. Remove the Hub Nut: Most Samsung condenser fans are secured with a central nut. Note that many of these are reverse-threaded (turn clockwise to loosen). Use a wrench to carefully remove the nut and any washers.
4. Remove the Old Blade: Slide the damaged DB67-00014A off the motor shaft. If it is stuck due to corrosion, apply a small amount of penetrating oil and let it sit for a few minutes before gently prying it upward.
5. Clean the Shaft: Use a wire brush or emery cloth to remove any rust or debris from the motor shaft to ensure the new blade seats perfectly.
6. Install the New Blade: Align the hub of the new DB67-00014A with the flat side of the motor shaft and slide it into position. Ensure it is pushed down to the same depth as the original.
7. Secure and Reassemble: Replace the washers and tighten the hub nut (remembering if it is reverse-threaded). Spin the blade by hand to ensure it has proper clearance and does not hit the coil or housing. Reinstall the grille and restore power.
Compatible with select Samsung outdoor condenser units, this OEM-quality fan blade restores the balanced airflow and efficient heat exchange originally designed for your system.
